Susan Cousineau

Susan Cousineau is the CHRO at WEST COUNTY HEALTH CENTERS INC. Susan has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on Business Partnership, Organizational Design and Change, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Engagement.

Susan started their career as a Human Resources Business Partner at Valley Media Inc. in 1995. In this role, they were responsible for aligning people and business strategies to improve business performance and deliver results. Susan also advised senior leaders on people strategy and organizational culture issues.

In 2002, Susan became an independent consultant, providing human resources services to small businesses. In 2012, they returned to consulting, providing human resources support to businesses of all sizes.

In 2015, Susan joined RIC Insurance General Agency, Inc. as their HR Business Partner and Director of Human Resources. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of human resources, including performance management, organizational design and change, succession planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, coaching and development, and employee relations.

In 2018, Susan joined WEST COUNTY HEALTH CENTERS INC as their CHRO. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of the human resources function.

Susan Cousineau attended Saint Mary's College of California, where they earned a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. Susan then went on to earn a degree in General Studies and Humanities from the same school.

Susan Cousineau works with Ellen Bauer - CAO, Luke Tharasri - Chief Operations & Strategy Officer, and Rain Moore - CMO, Community Health & Advocacy/ Medical Director, Occidental Area Health Center. Susan Cousineau reports to Jason Cunningham, CEO.
