Bonnie Russell

Bonnie Russell possesses extensive experience in communications and public relations within educational settings, currently serving as the NLRC Member/Chair for the National PTA since June 2019. With a long tenure at the West Genesee School District since February 2001, Bonnie has held various roles, including School Information Officer, where responsibilities include collecting and disseminating information across multiple platforms, coordinating public relations, and managing social media accounts. Bonnie has also served as Adult Education Director, overseeing numerous programs and instructors. In addition to contributions to the NYS PTA, where leadership roles have included Immediate Past President and Vice President of Communications/Advocacy, Bonnie has a background in technology and project management from a previous career at Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Bonnie holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Bentley University.
