Sarah Channels

Sarah Channels is an English teacher at West Genesee School District since August 2023, responsible for creating and facilitating full-day instruction and lesson plans for classes of up to 28 students, while collaborating with Special Education co-teachers. Previously, Sarah served as a 9th/10th Grade Long-Term Substitute and an 11th/12th Grade ELA Student Teacher, demonstrating strong classroom management and lesson planning skills. Additionally, Sarah is an SAT Preparatory Course Instructor at Onondaga Community College, where lesson plans are developed for students in a biweekly class format. Sarah possesses experience in various educational settings, including substitute teaching in grades 5-12, and has held roles in customer service and communications. Sarah holds a Master's of Science in Teaching from SUNY Plattsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Geneseo, complemented by a study abroad program at the University of Oxford.
