Sarah Elmer

Sarah Elmer has extensive experience in education, currently serving as both an Art Teacher and Special Education Teacher at West Genesee School District since September 2018. Prior to this role, Sarah worked as a Head Start Preschool Teacher at the Salvation Army from December 2017 to September 2021, and as an Account Development Specialist at Empire Merchants from March 2017 to December 2017. Sarah's teaching journey began at West Genesee School District as a Special Education Assistant from September 2014 to September 2017, where responsibilities included providing support to students with individualized educational plans and implementing therapeutic regimens. In earlier employment, Sarah was a Sales Associate at Ann Taylor between January 2015 and March 2017. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Art Teacher Education from Buffalo State University (2010-2014) and ongoing studies in Art Education at Jackson State University since 2013.
