Claire Andrews

Claire Andrews has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Claire is currently working as an Associate Program Manager at West Health since August 2021. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Intern at USC Emeriti Center from January 2021 to September 2021. Claire also gained valuable experience at the University of Southern California, where they worked as a Graduate Student Worker in the Fall Prevention Center of Excellence from November 2018 to September 2021.

In addition, Claire has held multiple roles at Kappa Alpha Theta Headquarters, including Reference Chair from October 2018 to January 2021, Human Resources Director from October 2017 to October 2018, and Historian from October 2016 to October 2017. During their time at Kappa Alpha Theta, Claire was involved in various activities such as fundraising for a national charity (CASA), participating and fundraising for the Walk to End Alzheimer's, and creating member information booklets.

Claire also gained experience as an Intern at Cedars-Sinai from August 2019 to December 2019, where they strategically recruited and communicated with participants for a research study, assisted in community-based fall prevention exercise classes, and shadowed patient visits in the Geriatric Medicine Department.

Previously, Claire worked as an Intern at UCLA Health, where they shadowed doctors and interacted with insurance company representatives to improve aging services. Claire also volunteered for a backyard concert benefiting teen cancer research.

Additionally, Claire held a Summer Intern position at HumanGood, specifically at White Sands Of La Jolla, from May 2017 to August 2017. Furthermore, they gained experience as a Summer Intern at the USC Alzheimer's Therapeutic Research Center, located in the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, from May 2016 to August 2016. In this role, they worked in the marketing department for USC's Alzheimer's clinical trials worldwide, analyzed research based on census data, and assisted in meetings between trial sites, the National Alzheimer's Association, and leading doctors in Alzheimer's research.

Claire's work experience also includes an internship at Meals on Wheels San Diego County starting in 2009, where they delivered meals for six years before being invited to intern. During their internship, they interviewed and videotaped clients about their experiences with Meals on Wheels, and the video was played at the Annual Volunteer Banquet.

Claire Andrews's education history is as follows:

From 2012 to 2016, Claire attended La Jolla High School, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.

From 2016 to 2020, Claire attended the University of Southern California and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Development and Aging, with a specialization in Gerontology.

While pursuing their undergraduate degree, Claire also completed a minor in Business from 2017 to 2020 at the University of Southern California.

Continuing their education, Claire attended the University of Southern California from 2020 to 2021 and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Gerontology.

Overall, Claire's education journey consisted of completing high school and obtaining both a bachelor's and master's degree with a focus on gerontology, as well as completing a minor in business during their undergraduate years.
