Andrew Telander

Andrew Telander is a Senior Data Scientist at Western EcoSystems Technology (WEST) since April 2013, where responsibilities include advancing machine learning and software products to address natural resource challenges and serving as a technical connector among stakeholders. Previously, Andrew held roles as a Consulting Statistician and Statistician, managing teams for ecological and statistical projects and developing models for Habitat Conservation Plans. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Scientist at KC Harvey Environmental, LLC, leading assessments of vegetation, soil, and water resources across multiple states. Andrew holds a Master of Science degree in Natural Resource Science and Management from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science degree in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management from the University of Wyoming.
