Matthew Sharpe

Head Coach, Varsity Boys Indoor Track at West Irondequoit Central School District

Matthew Sharpe started their career in 2004 as the Head of Bag Room Operations at The Country Club of Rochester. Matthew was responsible for organizing large tournaments and managing the golf shop. In 2013, they joined the West Irondequoit Central School District as the Head Coach for various sports teams, including indoor track and field, girls track and field, and boys modified soccer. Currently, since 2014, they are the Manager of Outside Operations at Cobblestone Creek Country Club, where they oversee daily golf operations, manages a team of employees, and maintains indoor golf simulators during the winter months.

Matthew Sharpe completed their high school education at Penfield High School, earning a High School Regents Diploma between 2002 and 2006. Following that, they attended Monroe Community College from 2006 to 2008, earning an Associate's degree in Business. In September 2014, Matthew obtained a certification in CPR/AED, First Responder from the NYS Department of Health.
