Steve Carley

Steve Carley is an experienced communications and journalism professional with a diverse background in sports reporting, corporate communications, and internal communications. Currently serving as an Internal Communications Officer and Corporate Communications Officer for West Mercia Police since March 2022, Steve has also worked as a freelance football reporter and commentator for the BBC since July 2015, covering grassroots football. Previous roles include Communications Officer and Senior PR Officer at Sanctuary Group, where Steve led communication efforts, produced content for various platforms, and engaged with stakeholders. Steve's early career included positions at Worcester News, Trinity Mirror plc, and Bramsgrove Advertiser, focusing on sports journalism and news reporting. Academically, Steve holds qualifications in journalism from Sheffield College and the University of Wolverhampton.
