Kate Atkinson

Kate Atkinson has extensive experience in animal care and biology, currently serving as an Animal Reserves Assistant at West Midland Safari and Leisure Park since July 2014. Prior to this role, Kate graduated with First Class Honours in Animal Biology BSc from Nottingham Trent University, where a Placement Diploma in Professional Practice with Distinction was also earned. Additional positions include Bird Keeper at Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, as well as various roles such as Coffee Shop Assistant and Student Ambassador at Minster Refectory. Early experiences in animal care were developed at Country Club Kennels & Cattery and a previous stint as an Animal Reserves Assistant at West Midland Safari and Leisure Park. Education has been completed at Hills Road Sixth Form College and Soham Village College.
