Joanne Hunt

Joanne Hunt currently serves as the Head of Digital and Engagement at West Midlands Police since November 2020. Prior to this role, Joanne was the Head of News at Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue and also held the position of Senior Communications Manager from February 2018 to November 2020. Joanne's extensive career at West Midlands Police began in July 1990 as Communications Manager, spanning nearly three decades. Earlier experience includes working as a Reporter for the Walsall Advertiser from February 1988 to February 1990. Joanne completed a degree in Journalism at Sheffield College from 1988 to 1990.
