Matthew Regan

Member, St. Christopher House Community Endowment Board Of Directors at West Neighbourhood House

Matthew Regan holds extensive experience in program management and policy analysis within various government sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of the Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness Unit at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade since June 2017, Matthew oversees a $40M funding program aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of advanced manufacturing businesses. Previously, Matthew worked as a Senior Program Advisor at West Neighbourhood House and contributed as a member of the St. Christopher House Community Endowment Board of Directors, focusing on empowering less advantaged individuals and families. Matthew's career also includes significant roles such as Provincial Planner at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and Senior Policy Analyst at the Ontario Ministry of Education, alongside earlier positions at the Ontario Ministry of Housing and the Responsible Gambling Council. Matthew possesses a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, a Master’s degree in Religion and Culture from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Acadia University.
