Maria Hanzi Jiang

Maria Hanzi Jiang is a Doctoral Student at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine since September 2023 and also serves as a Data Analyst at West Side United since September 2022. Previously, Maria worked as an Applied Data Fellow at the International Innovation Corps, where responsibilities included constructing community surveys and conducting statistical analyses to address needs in violence-impacted areas. Experience as a Research Assistant at Argonne National Laboratory involved time series analysis related to SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater and its social implications. Additionally, Maria served as a Teaching Assistant at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Earlier career roles included Supervisor at Pavement Coffeehouse and Area Manager at Xanterra Parks & Resorts. Maria earned a Master of Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and holds two undergraduate degrees from Boston University in Business Administration and Hospitality Administration/Management, both with Cum Laude honors.
