Vivian Towe is an experienced public health professional with a strong focus on health equity and research. Currently serving as a Program Officer at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), Vivian co-leads the development of health equity national priority goals and oversees a portfolio of comparative effectiveness research awards. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Policy Researcher at the RAND Corporation, where Vivian directed numerous national research projects on housing, HIV/AIDS, and mental health. Additional expertise encompasses public health research at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, project management with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and academic roles at esteemed institutions such as Johns Hopkins University and the University of California, Berkeley. Vivian holds a PhD in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, along with multiple advanced degrees in related fields.
