Julie Lacey

Julie Lacey is an experienced professional in the textile and education sectors, currently serving as Fabric Technology Manager at Westbridge Furniture Designs Ltd since April 2014, and previously as Fabric Technologist. Julie has a strong background in teaching, having taught BTEC Fashion and Clothing at Newtown High School and served as a part-time Teacher of AS and A2 Textiles at Shrewsbury 6th Form College. A former Textile Consultant, Julie provided technical support in the textile industry and has held positions focused on fabric performance and customer liaison at Deeside Furniture and Curtains Ltd. Early career experience includes various roles at Laura Ashley in Textile Colouration. Julie holds a BSc Hons in Textiles Design and Design Management from The University of Manchester, an ASDC qualification in Textile Colouration from the Society of Dyers and Colourists, and a PGCE from Glyndwr University.
