M.d. Dabpn Fapa Zeeshan Faruqui

Zeeshan Faruqui, M.D. DABPN FAPA has an extensive work experience in the field of psychiatry. Zeeshan is currently serving as the President of the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society Central Chapter, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Drexel University since June 2022. From September 2018, Dr. Faruqui worked as the Medical Director of Interventional Psychiatry and Psychiatrist at Keystone Health.

Before joining Keystone Health, they served as the Medical Director and Psychiatrist at Westbrook Health Services, Inc. from August 2015 to August 2018. Dr. Faruqui also held the role of President Elect at the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society from September 2022 to May 2023.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Resident Psychiatrist at VCU Health System from July 2011 to June 2015 and as an Extern at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from December 2009 to November 2010. Prior to their work in the United States, they served as a Junior Resident at Safdarjung Hospital and VM Medical College from July 2006 to July 2008, and as a Senior Research Fellow at All India Institute of Medical Sciences from August 2007 to May 2008.

Zeeshan Faruqui, M.D. DABPN FAPA pursued a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Medicine at Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. This educational journey lasted from 1999 to 2004. Following this, from 2011 to 2015, they enrolled in the Psychiatry Residency Program at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, specializing in Psychiatry.
