Maria Teresita Bertoli Avella

Maria Teresita Bertoli Avella is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in clinical operations and research within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Keralty Research Center Director and Clinical Operations Manager at Keralty Hospital and Westchester General Hospital, respectively, since August 2020, Maria has also held the position of CEO at MGM Technology Corp. since January 2017. Previous roles include Research Associate at the University of Miami, focusing on microbial contributions to appendage regeneration, and Clinical Research Coordinator at Regenerate Clinical Trials. Maria's early career involved significant research on Helicobacter pylori and other pathogens as a researcher and professor at UJMD, culminating in the establishment of innovative diagnostic methods in El Salvador. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Microbiology from the University of Havana, a Master’s in Microbiology from Universidad de Costa Rica, and participation in an Exchange Research Program at Washington University School of Medicine.
