Lee is a creative director with decades of experience in digital marketing, package design, print advertising and more. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. Lee strives to make the world a more beautiful place through visual storytelling and impactful design. He has held several design positions in a variety of industries.
As a lead designer for Cox Automotive (parent company of Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader), he led many high-profile projects and set his team up for success which in turn notched four Graphic Design USA In-House Design Awards for his work with Kelley Blue Book. Prior to that, he worked in the advertising and marketing departments for the Orange County Register, overseeing a team of 30 designers. His extensive knowledge of the latest software applications and current design trends helped keep his team putting out relevant, fresh designs. Lee’s creative efforts there won the newspaper five consecutive awards for “Best Special Section Publication” from the California Newspaper Advertising Executives Association (CNAEA). He also spent time as graphic design supervisor for Fluidmaster, leading initiatives to innovate the company’s package design and visual brand presence in a variety of media. In addition, Lee has worked for several top Orange County marketing agencies on a contract basis, including DGWB, Brilliant Blue and Specialized Marketing Services.
After spending time as a DJ and vocalist in a rock band that toured the world, he found his passion working in design and creative services. A native of southern California, Lee enjoys taking full advantage of the terrain and weather with interests in motorsports, skiing and soccer. He expresses his creative side at home with his wife, two sons and three dogs through home improvement projects and cooking. At any given time, you’re likely to find him at home with a hammer in his hand or flexing his skills in the kitchen on his never-ending quest to beat Bobby Flay.
