Jamie Gower

Jamie Gower has over 17 years of experience in human resources. They currently hold the position of Vice President of Human Resources at WESTconsin Credit Union, where they began in September 2019. Prior to this, Jamie served as the HR Director at Eau Claire County from March 2016 to September 2019. Their responsibilities included managing a wide range of HR functions such as labor relations, compensation, policy development, training, and strategic planning.

Before joining Eau Claire County, Jamie worked at Smart Sand, Inc as an HR professional and at Mega CO-OP as an HR Director. They also gained valuable experience at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, where they held various roles including HR Supervisor, Service Partner, and Lead HR Recruitment.

Additionally, Jamie worked as a Contract Recruiter Coordinator at GSI Commerce, an HR Manager at Holiday Vacations, an HR Associate at Assurant Health, and a Recruiter at Froedtert Hospital.

Throughout their career, Jamie demonstrated leadership, expertise in recruitment, performance management, and policy administration across various industries such as healthcare, financial services, and e-commerce.

Jamie Gower, MHRLR, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Masters degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, Jamie received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout between 1998 and 2002. In addition to these degrees, Jamie also obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in December 2016.
