Rocky Chen

Rocky Chen is a highly experienced IT professional with a robust background in software development and systems architecture. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Security and Analytics at the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions since September 2014, Rocky Chen is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining core services deployed on a cloud computing platform. Key projects include a developing Python and Django-based report service and a 2nd Generation SSO Application, both demonstrating expertise in data extraction, user authentication, and system performance optimization. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Analyst-Programmer overseeing the Knowledge Management System and as a C# Developer enhancing a volunteer system at Eduka. Rocky Chen's career began in China, where significant contributions were made to various system designs, including an online instant messaging system and online banking solutions. Rocky Chen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Computer Software Engineering from Wuhan University.
