Ira Galin has extensive experience in the field of cardiology. From 2000 to 2007, they worked as a Resident in Internal Medicine, Chief Resident, and Cardiology Fellow at The Mount Sinai Hospital. In 2007, they joined Western Connecticut Medical Group as a Cardiologist and currently serves as the Medical Director of Cardiovascular Clinical Services. Since 2014, they have also served as the Program Director for the Cardiovascular Fellowship at Danbury Hospital.
Ira Galin attended the University of Connecticut from 1992 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Neurobiology. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the Boston University School of Medicine, where they pursued a Doctor of Medicine degree from 1996 to 2000, specializing in the field of Medicine.
