Doug Snyder

Doug Snyder has over 17 years of work experience in various roles in education. Currently, they serve as the Director of Education at the Western Golf Association/Evans Scholars Foundation. Prior to this, Doug worked at the University of Colorado Boulder for 9 years. During their time at the university, they held multiple positions including Assistant Teaching Professor of History and International Affairs, Director of the International Affairs Honors Program, Faculty-in-Residence, and Lecturer of History and International Affairs. Before joining the University of Colorado Boulder, Doug worked as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Instructor of History and International Affairs at the University of Colorado at Boulder for 8 years.

Doug Snyder completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in History from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014. Prior to that, they also earned a Master of Arts - MA in History from Wayne State University in 2006. Their undergraduate education included a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from the University of Michigan, which they completed between 2000 and 2004.
