Laura Rennick

Laura Rennick serves as the Executive Director at the Western Interstate Energy Board since May 2022, previously holding positions as Interim Executive Director - Policy and Director of State, Federal, and International Affairs. Prior to this role, Laura Rennick was the Deputy Administrator/Operations Manager for the Water Resource Division at the Montana Department of Natural Resources & Conservation from January 2020 to April 2022. Laura Rennick's extensive experience also includes serving as Energy Bureau Chief and Compliance Supervisor at the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, as well as holding various roles including Water Quality Specialist and Safe Drinking Water Act-Rule Manager. Earlier in Laura Rennick's career, a role as Research Analyst was fulfilled at The Cadmus Group. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and Engineering Management from Montana State University-Bozeman, a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and French from Carroll College, and an Associate of Science in Business from the University of Montana-Helena College of Technology, alongside studies at Université Paris-Sorbonne and the University of Portland.
