Melinda Abernethy

Melinda Abernethy is an Associate Professor in the Department of OBGYN and FPMRS at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, M.D. School of Medicine since July 2018. Additionally, Melinda serves as an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, a position held since October 2014. Prior experience includes a Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from July 2013 to June 2014 and at Loyola University Medical Center from July 2011 to June 2013. Melinda began training as a House Officer at the University of Michigan from July 2007 to June 2011 after obtaining a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 2007.
