Aileen Colon

Aileen Colon is a seasoned compliance specialist with extensive experience in customs regulations and trade operations. Currently serving as a Senior Compliance Specialist at Western Overseas since February 2009, Aileen provides expert advice on customs regulations to ensure compliance. Aileen's previous roles include various positions at BSRA from 2008 to 2016, and key leadership positions at CBP Los Angeles, including Assistant Director of Field Operations for Trade from April 1990 to May 2005, overseeing over 1,400 customs officers. Aileen also managed inspection operations at Los Angeles International Airport as Assistant Deputy Director from October 1987 to September 1990 and served as Chief Inspector/Deputy Assistant District Director at the LA/LB Seaports with the U.S. Customs Service from 1980 to 1987. Aileen holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and Art from Yuba College and has continued education at The Federal Executive Institute since 1993.
