Paul Teague

Paul Teague is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in community and economic development, marketing, and journalism. Currently serving as the Community and Economic Project Developer at Western Piedmont Council of Governments since September 2018, Paul previously held the position of Marketing & Business Development Coordinator at Caldwell County Economic Development Commission from November 2012 to September 2018. Prior experience includes roles as News Editor and Sports Editor at Lenoir News-Topic, and as Office Manager at Hickory Plumbing & Heating Co. Paul Teague earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Lenoir-Rhyne University, having also attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
