Vania Defrates

Vania DeFrates is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and financial management within the wind energy sector. Since May 2015, Vania has held multiple roles at WESTERN PUMP, Inc., including Controller, Accounting Manager, and Senior Accountant. Prior to this, Vania served as an Independent Consultant from January 2013 to August 2022, and as a Financial and Commercial Operations Analyst at Garrad Hassan from March 2011 to January 2013, focusing on annual budget reviews and financial performance analysis of wind projects. Vania's earlier experience includes significant roles at AES Wind Generation, Inc., and Seawest Windpower, managing financial processes and reporting for various wind projects. Vania holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from San Diego State University.
