Marcie Kemper

Marcie Kemper has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Marcie started their career at the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce in 1996 as a Communications Director, where they were responsible for various tasks including communications, Chamber meeting planning, event planning, and government relations. In 1999, they joined Deaconess Associations as a Marketing Consultant, and later moved to Western & Southern Financial Group in 2004. At Western & Southern Financial Group, they held multiple roles including Senior Marketing Consultant, where they were involved in project management, marketing and sales material creation, campaign strategy/execution, and event planning. Their most recent role at the company was as a Senior Marketing Manager.

Marcie Kemper earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in the School of Media and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they attended from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications, including an Associate, Secure Retirement Institute (ASRI) certification from LOMA, obtained in 2021, and a Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) certification from LOMA, obtained in 2015.
