Daniel Burns

Daniel Burns, CSP, currently serves as a Safety Coordinator at Western States Mechanical since September 2023 and has been a Compliance Safety and Health Officer with the Labor Commission of Utah since August 2020. Prior experience includes the role of EHS Coordinator at Warren Equipment Company from January 2019 to April 2020 and Freight Team Associate at The Home Depot from September 2017 to January 2019. A veteran of the US Navy, Daniel held the rank of Chief Petty Officer from July 1997 to August 2017. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Waldorf University, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Safety from Waldorf University, and an Associate of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.
