Stefanie Balogh

Stefanie Balogh is currently serving as the Director of Higher Education and Public Policy at Western Sydney University, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this, Stefanie was the Head of Strategic Communications at the Business Council of Australia from November 2021 to August 2023, and served as a Senior Writer at the same organization from November 2017 to November 2021. Stefanie's extensive experience in journalism includes roles as National Education Correspondent, Sydney Bureau Chief, Senior Writer, and Canberra Bureau Chief at The Australian between 2010 and 2017. Additional roles include National Political Correspondent at The Courier Mail from 2008 to 2010, New York Correspondent for News Corp Australia from 2006 to 2008, and various reporting positions at The Courier Mail and The Australian from 1996 to 2006.
