Randi Anderson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Randi started their career as a clinic staff member in Sports Medicine at Virginia Mason Medical Center in 2004. From there, they progressed to become a Virginia Mason Production System Specialist, specializing in process improvement using Lean principles. In 2014, Randi became a Service Line Manager, overseeing the Orthopedics service line and managing multiple locations and cross-functional teams. Randi then transitioned to the role of Manager of the Learning, Innovation, and Simulation Center, where they were responsible for employee education and training, simulation programs, and budget management. In 2020, Randi was promoted to Director of the Kaizen Promotion Office and Learning, Innovation, & Simulation Center, where they provided oversight for process improvement initiatives, education and training programs, and monitoring of key performance indicators. Most recently, Randi held the position of Director of Operations at Indigo Urgent Care before joining Western Veterinary Partners in the same capacity starting in 2023.
Randi Anderson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Fitness and Exercise Science, with a concentration in pre-Physical Therapy, from Western Washington University in the years 2000 to 2004. In 2019, they completed their Master of Science degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. Additionally, in August 2012, Randi obtained certifications in Experience-Based Design from Virginia Mason Medical Center, as well as VMPS (Process Improvement, Lean, Kaizen) certification from the same institution.
