Matt Coyle is an experienced ecologist and land manager with a diverse background in vegetation monitoring, wetland delineations, and biological monitoring for mitigation projects. Currently employed at Westervelt Ecological Services since November 2013, Matt oversees land management tasks for 7,000 acres of habitat in California and conducts thorough assessments for habitat mitigation suitability. Previous roles include consulting biologist and restoration ecologist positions, where Matt operated heavy equipment, prepared monitoring reports, and facilitated habitat restoration projects. With a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Matt has a proven track record of successfully designing and constructing numerous ecological restoration projects over a career spanning from 1998 to the present.
