Marvin Messer

Marvin Messer has a comprehensive work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Marvin is currently working at WestJet as the Head of API Management and Integration. Prior to that, Marvin worked at Shaw Communications, where they held various positions. Marvin was the Head of Fulfillment and Enterprise Integration, responsible for driving culture, innovation, and operations across multiple teams. Marvin also served as the Head of OSS Technologies, overseeing the stability and strategic plan of multiple applications. Marvin's earlier roles at Shaw Communications included Manager of Enterprise Technologies and Manager of Enterprise Application Delivery. Before joining Shaw Communications, they worked at Aspen Technology as a Manager and Team Lead for Application Development. Marvin's career began at Fekete Associates inc, where they were a Team Lead and Developer, responsible for developing and delivering wellbore simulation software. Throughout their career, Marvin has demonstrated strong leadership, accountability, and a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Marvin Messer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the DeVry Institute of Technology which was obtained from 1995 to 1998. In 2008 to 2009, they attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) where they received a Certificate in Leadership Development. Additionally, they obtained a Business Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General from Cypress Hills Regional College in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, between 1994 and 1995. Marvin also holds The Working Mind Manager Program Certificate from the Mental Health Commission of Canada, obtained in 2022.
