Emdad Ul Hoque

Emdad ul Hoque is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in process control and automation within the petrochemical and refining industries. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Process Control at Westlake Chemical since August 2011, Emdad ul Hoque leads significant DCS upgrade projects, successfully implementing advanced control systems. Previously, Emdad ul Hoque held the position of Lead Engineer at Qatar Petroleum Refinery, overseeing refinery expansion projects and enhancing operational applications. Earlier roles include Senior Engineer at Honeywell Canada Ltd, focusing on project specifications and client training, and Engineer at Syncrude Ltd, where skills in process control and unit performance optimization were developed. Emdad ul Hoque holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Western University and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Technological University.
