Shannon Ray

Shannon Ray has extensive experience in various roles focused on management, consulting, and education. Currently a Distribution and Product Management Support Specialist at Westlake Chemical since September 2021, Shannon previously served as a Senior Associate Consultant at alliantgroup, advancing through multiple consulting positions from June 2019 to September 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Aquatics Instructor and Learning Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where Shannon was recognized with an Outstanding Teaching Award for contributions to biology education. Shannon also conducted research on the health of preterm infants as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and began a career in swim instruction at Aqua-Tots Swim Schools. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Shannon furthered professional development through Rice University Boot Camps from June 2022 to January 2023.
