Emily Yashura Eit

Emily Yashura, EIT, is a product development engineer at Westlake Pipe & Fittings since August 2022, focusing on the design, testing, and documentation of PVC pipe and fittings. Previously, Emily served as a math and physics tutor at the Academic Support Center at York College of Pennsylvania from January 2019 to May 2022, enhancing students' understanding and confidence in these subjects. Emily also gained experience as an R&D mechanical engineering intern at BD during two separate periods in 2021, where responsibilities included designing testing fixtures, executing tests, and analyzing data for medical diagnostic products. Emily's early work experience includes roles as an apparel sales associate at DICK'S Sporting Goods and a concierge at Woodbridge Place. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from York College of Pennsylvania, completed in 2022.
