Catherine Esquer, MBA

Catherine Esquer, MBA, has a strong background in environmental project management and consulting. Catherine currently works at WestLand Engineering & Environmental Services as an Environmental Project Manager, where they manage all phases of projects, communicates effectively with clients and project teams, and provides technical expertise in compliance and regulatory documents. Prior to this, Catherine worked at WW Associates Management & Consulting as a Junior Project Manager, where they managed projects, evaluated progress, and communicated with multiple clients and project teams. Catherine also worked as a Field Biologist at the same company. Catherine's experience also includes working as an Environmental Health Specialist at Cochise County, where they conducted inspections, trained establishment staff, and investigated complaints. Catherine began their career as an Environmental Program Intern at the City of Yuma, Arizona, where they facilitated an environmental award program, assessed construction sites for compliance, and gained knowledge of environmental regulations.

Catherine Esquer pursued their education in a chronological order. Catherine began their education in 2013 at Northern Arizona University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biological and Ecological Science in 2017. Following this, in 2022, they enrolled at Western Governors University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which is expected to be completed in 2023.

Additionally, Catherine Esquer has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2017, they completed the 40-Hour HAZWOPER training through ETC Compliance Solutions - Environmental, Health & Safety Training & Consulting. In 2018, they became a Registered Sanitarian through the State of Arizona Department of Heath Services. In 2019, they obtained the Certified Applicator certification from the Arizona Department of Agriculture Pest Management Division. Furthermore, in 2020, they completed the Construction Quality Management for Contractors course offered by kugan&associates, LLC, and the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety training provided by 360training. In 2022, they acquired the New Miner Safety Training - Surface, Coal, Metal, and Nonmetal certification from the Mine Safety and Health Administration. Finally, in 2023, they achieved the Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certification through the American Heart Association.
