Trish Souliere

Trish Souliere's work experience includes serving as the Director of Children's and Youth Education at Westminster Presbyterian Church since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Mentor for Highly Gifted Students at Lincoln Public Schools from 2017 to 2021, where they engaged students in language arts activities, organized writing skill development, and led literature discussions. From 2016 to 2017, Trish served as the Director of Professional Development at the National Collegiate Honors Council, where they planned and coordinated activities for the annual conference and developed online toolkits. Trish also held positions as the Director of Communications and Conference Administration and Technology Manager at the National Collegiate Honors Council. At FutureForce Nebraska, Trish worked as a Program Coordinator from 2005 to 2007, where they designed informational and promotional materials, coordinated pilot school programs, and wrote grant applications.

Trish Souliere obtained their high school diploma from Shawnee Mission East High School from 1983 to 1986. Following that, they attended Nebraska Wesleyan University from 1986 to 1990 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/French. Trish returned to Nebraska Wesleyan University from 2018 to 2020 to pursue a Master's degree in Education.

In addition to their formal education, Trish has also obtained various certifications. Trish obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from MyTEFL in November 2020. In May 2018, they acquired certifications in Graphic Design Foundations: Layout and Composition, Learning How to Increase Learner Engagement, Teaching Techniques: Creating Effective Learning Assessments, and Educational Technology for Student Success, all from Lynda.com. Prior to that, in April 2018, they completed certifications in Teaching Techniques: Developing Curriculum, Change Management Foundations, Creating a Career Plan, Content Marketing Foundations, and Online Marketing Foundations, all also from Lynda.com.
