Lance Miller

Lance started his career in 2001 with Westmoreland Savage Corporation, first as a temporary employee then advancing to a full time General Equipment Operator in 2002. For the next 12 years, he worked as a Dragline Operator and actively participated in implementing several best mining practices across Savage’s mining functions. In September 2015, Lance was promoted to Production and Maintenance Supervisor and became Operations Manager of the SavageMine in August 2018. Lance’s dragline knowledge and expertise is relied upon at both the BeulahMine and other Westmoreland dragline operations.

Lance graduated from Dawson Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Agricultural Business Technology. After graduation, he spent the next 10 years as an Account Manager for Glendive Coca-Cola.
