Julia Russek

Julia Russek currently serves as an engineer for the coordination of small remote control technology in the secondary technology operations at Westnetz GmbH since June 2022. In addition, Julia holds the position of deputy head of Technology & IT within the Taskforce for the reconstruction following the flooding caused by Storm Bernd. Previous experience includes roles as a student assistant at both the Institute for Power Generation and Storage Systems at RWTH Aachen University and the research group for energy system planning at IAEW der RWTH Aachen. Julia also gained practical experience as a working student and intern in signal technology development at Scheidt & Bachmann. Julia holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Engineering: Electric Energy Technology from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor of Science in the same field.
