Maike Venhaus

Maike Venhaus has extensive experience in data services and analytics, currently serving as Teamleiterin Data-Services Netzplanung und -bau at Westnetz GmbH since June 2019. In this role, Maike leads IT projects for software automation in network calculations, designs complex data models for electricity and gas networks, and oversees the implementation of an automated self-disclosure tool for electricity connection inquiries. Prior to this position, Maike held various roles, including Data Analyst and Trainee Analyst Netztechnik, focusing on data quality initiatives and the establishment of data governance. Maike's earlier experience includes positions at Technische Universität Dortmund, where contributions were made in coordination and communications networks, and internships at Leibniz-Institut für Analytische Wissenschaften, Biometrika, and KOSTAL Group, where technical and software development skills were enhanced. Maike holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Information Technology from TU Dortmund University, along with international experience in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
