Martin Gaskell

Martin has been Chief Transformation Officer since February 2022, a role where he is responsible for overseeing change and transformation activities throughout the bank.

Prior to joining Westpac, Martin held various leadership roles at BNZ including Director of Customer Fulfilment Services, and Chief Operating Officer for BNZ Partners. He left BNZ in 2018 and set up a consultancy.

Martin is a qualified accountant who started his career with Ford Retail Group in the UK. He moved to New Zealand in 2007 where he now lives in Auckland.
