David Burroughs

David Burroughs serves as the Chief Mental Health Officer at Westpac since August 2018 and has been a Principal Psychologist at Australian Psychological Services since April 2010. Their extensive experience includes partnering at Psychological Safety Australia, where David developed programs focused on creating 'Psychologically Safe' corporate cultures and enhancing ethical decision-making. David co-founded Mantle and played a key role in the 'Ahead for Business' initiative as a Leadership Advisory Group Member with EverymindAU. Prior to this, David co-founded and served as Managing Director of CommuniCorp Group, establishing one of Australia's first firms dedicated to workplace mental health. Their earlier experience includes consulting roles at the Centre for Corporate Health and Workplace Research Associates, alongside working as a psychologist at ACT Health. David holds degrees from the Australian National University and Batemans Bay.
