Matthew Walker

Matthew Walker has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Matthew began their career at Volvo Group Trucks Technology in 2008 as a Calibration Engineer, where they were responsible for calibrating engine ECU for heavy-duty duel-fuel engines to meet performance demands and emissions standards. Matthew later became a Lead Application Engineer, overseeing engine ECU calibration activities and participating in test and tune expeditions in extreme environments. In 2015, Matthew joined Westport Fuel Systems as a System Engineer, before progressing to Senior Control System Engineer. In this role, they designed and validated prototype control systems for natural gas and hydrogen engines using Matlab Simulink and dSPACE hardware. Currently, Matthew is working as a Team Lead at Westport Fuel Systems, leading the Controls & System Engineering team.

Matthew Walker completed their education at Penn State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. In addition, they obtained certifications in "Become a Product Manager" and "Becoming a Product Manager: A Complete Guide" from LinkedIn in 2022.
