Scott Stevenson joined Westrec in 1991 and oversees operations for Westrec in the northeastern US. Since 1996, Mr. Stevenson has managed the Chicago Park District’s 10 harbors accommodating over 6000 boats. He has over 30 years of experience in the marine industry with direct responsibility managing over 40 marinas. His experience encompasses developments in Hong Kong, Mexico and the US and includes construction, management and marketing. In addition, Mr. Stevenson has been involved as a designer and manufacturer of floating marinas with over 250 projects constructed worldwide. He has operated a variety of marina facilities including dry stack storage buildings, service facilities, and marine retail space. As the architect of the $100+ million renovation plan for the Chicago harbors, Mr. Stevenson has been instrumental in the improvement of income of these Harbors from a breakeven point in 1995 to over $13 million in 2013. During the same period, revenue has grown from $5 million to over $24 million. Mr. Stevenson serves on numerous boards and commissions in the Chicago area and holds both and MBA and a BA in International Relations from Brigham Young University.
