Adam Carter

Adam Carter is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the paper and packaging industries, currently serving as SVP of Global Paperboard Sales at WestRock Company since July 2015. Carter has led various teams focused on commercial excellence, product development, and strategic initiatives, significantly impacting the Consumer Packaging segment, which generates $4.8 billion in revenue. Previous roles include VP positions in finance and strategic initiatives, as well as leadership in the beverage and consumer segments across multiple regions. Prior to WestRock, Carter held senior roles at MeadWestvaco, where significant achievements included overseeing a $600 million revenue business in Latin America and leading successful transformation projects. Adam Carter's career also features roles in corporate development, financial analysis, and consulting, supported by an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BA in History from the University of Virginia.
