Michael Maier

Michael Maier is an accomplished real estate executive with extensive experience in orchestrating commercial, industrial, retail, and multi-family projects within both private and public sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Development at Westrum Development Company since December 2019, Michael demonstrates exceptional proficiency in real estate finance, contract law, and public-private partnerships. Previous roles include Vice President of Retail Development and Vice President of Hotels & Hospitality at JLL, where responsibilities encompassed sourcing development opportunities and advising on partnership structuring. Michael also held positions at IKEA Group as a Real Estate Development & Asset Manager, overseeing projects across the U.S., and as Vice President at Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, managing real estate transactions for mixed-use developments. Michael holds an MBA in Risk Management from the Fox School of Business at Temple University and a BS in Public Administration from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
