Katy Wiechert

Katy started in the title business in 1978. Since then she has owned her own private loan servicing and escrow business with three different locations. Katy joined Weststar Mortgage Corporation in 1989 with responsibilities in business development and has since worked every aspect of the company’s mortgage lending business including being an FHA and FNMA underwriter. Katy is currently the company’s Chief Compliance Officer. Katy has served on various New Mexico industry association boards covering mortgage banking and manufactured housing and in 2011 was voted Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women.
