Emily Kiefat

Emily Kiefat's work experience began in 2016 as a Lifeguard at Colby Lake Swim & Tennis Association and YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities. In 2018, they worked as a Seasonal Inspector for The City of Fargo, where they communicated with supervisors, contractors, and construction workers. In 2019, they served as an Engineering Intern at the City of Cottage Grove, participating in various engineering meetings and transferring final as-built elevations. In 2021, they worked as a Transportation Engineering Intern at Apex Engineering Group, Inc., where they used AutoCad and conducted inspections. Emily currently works at Westwood Professional Services as a Graduate Civil Engineer, starting in 2022. Additionally, from 2017 to 2022, they held the role of Student Coordinator of Aquatics at NDSU Wallman Wellness Center, managing staff scheduling and leading monthly meetings.

Emily Kiefat has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University, which they obtained between the years 2016 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at East Ridge High School from 2012 to 2016, earning their high school diploma. In addition to their formal education, they also hold an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate from the American Red Cross.
