Jaya Pichumani Jackson

Jaya Pichumani Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Jaya Pichumani began their career as a Technical Data Analyst at Advanced Sciences Inc. in 1992, where they worked until 1995. Jaya Pichumani then moved on to Texas Southern University, where they served as a Research Analyst from 1997 to 1998. Jaya's next position was as a Project Engineer at Conservation Services Group from 1999 to 2006. Following this, they became a Graduate Engineer at Austin Energy from 2006 to 2008. Jaya then joined CH2M HILL as a Solar Design Engineer from 2008 to 2015. Jaya Pichumani further advanced their career as a Senior Project Engineer at Gehrlicher Solar from 2015 to 2018. Currently, Jaya serves as an Electrical Project Manager at Westwood Professional Services, starting in 2019.

Jaya Pichumani Jackson began their education at Virginia Tech from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering. Jaya Pichumani then pursued further education at Baylor University from 1995 to 1997, specializing in Environmental Sciences and earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree. In 1997, Jaya also received a Certificate in Photovoltaics from Solar Energy International (SEI).
