Michael Kersten

Michael Kersten joined Westwood & Wilshire’s Technology Practice in 2022 specializing in SaaS platform companies with functional recruiting expertise in Sales/Marketing, Finance, and Legal roles.Based on his P&L management background from a highly successful career in sales, Michael spent several years in financial recruiting.

Michael has made numerous successful placements of financial leaders from all levels in industries ranging from Health, Technology, Construction to investment firms and more. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He lives in Parker, Colorado, with his family and is a youth baseball coach.

Prior to recruiting, Michael had over 10 years at Sun Microsystems in professional services sales, where he managed national engagements with full Professional Services P&L accountability for AT&T national account. He mentored and coached 2 Engagement Managers and 8 Project Managers who oversaw 160 consultants and 40 projects covering both infrastructure and Software Solutions to include ERP (SAP & Oracle), and Mobile. Mike won President’s Club 7 times and numerous high-performance awards.
